Stonevia DIY Guide

Plan a smaller Stonevia project with confidence
This page is designed as a buyer guide for smaller DIY-oriented applications such as garden paths, compact courtyards, stepping areas and feature wall finishes. You can expand this page later with your own photos, product kits and installation videos.
1. Material Selection
- Choose the main aggregate blend for the field surface
- Select border or edging colour if the project needs definition
- Confirm whether the substrate is suited to a resin-bound finish
- Decide whether the project is horizontal paving or vertical wall finish
2. Thickness Selection
- 3 mm to 6 mm for light decorative wall finishes
- 9 mm to 12 mm for lighter decorative horizontal areas
- 15 mm for many residential pathway and driveway applications
- 18 mm where a thicker build-up is preferred for the system design
3. Colour Selection
- Warm natural mix for soft architectural facades
- Charcoal and grey blends for modern homes
- Light stone mixes for bright entrance spaces
- Contrast edging can be used to frame the main field colour
4. Installation Steps
- Prepare and assess the base or wall substrate
- Measure the area and confirm thickness
- Mix resin and aggregate to the required ratio
- Apply evenly and compact or finish as needed
- Allow curing time before use
Important: DIY suitability depends on the project size, base condition, drainage, detailing and the buyer's confidence level. Larger driveways and critical structural areas are better handled as professional installations.
